قرار توقف بث قناة "السوري الحر" عبر القمر الصناعي "نايل سات" قد أثار موجة من الاستغراب والتساؤلات بين متابعي القناة والمهتمين بالشأن الإعلامي في المنطقة. في إعلان رسمي نشر عبر حساب القناة على موقع "تويتر"، أكدت "السوري الحر" إيقاف البث المباشر اعتبارًا من الأول من مايو 2018.
